David Jackson

David joined Vitruvian in March 2025 as General Counsel.

Prior to Vitruvian, David worked at Barclays where he held a number of leadership roles, including serving as Barclays Europe General Counsel and as a General Counsel overseeing several global group legal functions. Prior to these positions, he held various other senior legal roles within M&A and the bank’s former private equity and infrastructure funds businesses. Before joining Barclays, David trained and qualified as a lawyer with Freshfields, where he worked for 10 years specialising in private equity-focused M&A and corporate finance advisory work. David has an LLB in Law and German Law from University College London, having also studied at the University of Cologne.
