Chris Bulger

Chris joined Vitruvian in 2018 as General Counsel. In 2019, he was also appointed as Chief Compliance Officer (UK Senior Manager Function 16), Money Laundering Reporting Officer (UK Senior Manager Function 17) and Chief Risk Officer. In 2025 he then assumed the role of Senior Director.

Chris is currently a member of the BVCA’s Legal Committee and Capital Markets Working Group and was previously a member of Invest Europe’s Financial Services / Regulatory Working Group. Prior to Vitruvian, Chris was an Executive Director and Senior Counsel at Goldman Sachs, where he supported the Merchant Banking Division, the Principal Strategic Investments Division and various Firmwide Investments. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Chris was at Slaughter and May for nine years, where he specialised in public and private M&A. Chris holds a BA in History from the University of Durham.
